Which AWS certification should you do first?

If you’re brand new to the AWS universe, take some time to get up to speed with the basics. Learn about cloud computing in general and then dive into Amazon Web Services. Don’t worry too much about specifics at this stage though, as it’s just to give you a good grounding in what they offer and how they work.

Once you’ve done that, then you can start thinking about what aws certification path are available. There are quite a few and it can be a little confusing at first.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Level – Basically, this is the fundamental certification for learning AWS. It focuses on the core infrastructure and best practice design of AWS-based solutions. For most people this is their first certification to take in their learning path simply because it is the foundation level that you need in order to get deeper into AWS solutions.
